Bigamy. Prisoner had married Mary Falkner at Manchester, co. Lancs on 27 June 1794. He married Mary Humphreys at Chester on 25 July 1806. A bill of indictment had been found at the previous Lancaster Assizes for the same offence but had been quashed due to suspected collusion. Prisoner apprehended at Northop, co. Flint. Prosecutor a clerk to Mr Dovaston, the second wife's father. mwy
